Saurabh Kumar, Advisor
Saurabh has more than 15 years of experience leading all key aspects of the Digital/Mobile, IT and Data Science space at various Fortune 500 companies. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Actionable Science, now renamed as REZOLVE.AI. He has worked in various senior roles in the banking and health care industry including being Senior Vice President in Wealth Management at Bank of the West, Senior Director of Shared Services and Digital Customer Experience at Blue Shield of California and several roles in Digital team of Wells Fargo Bank. His experience includes leading Product Management, Program Management, Software Architecture and Development, Business Analytics and User Experience. Saurabh is also an active advisor to and investor in start-ups including Feetapart. Saurabh holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and an Undergrad in Electrical Engg. from IIT, Varanasi.Outside of work he participates in programs to improve the quality of Primary Education in Developing Countries – he is a board member to Kishalay Foundation working in that space. He is also an avid traveller having visited more than 25 countries.
Biplab Das, Founder
Born and schooled in the Rangabelia village in Sundarbans where his father was a government school teacher, Biplab Das has witnessed first-hand the region’s grinding poverty and elementary education deficit. Subsequently, even after he moved to Kolkata and Bangalore for higher studies, he regularly visited his ancestral home in the Sundarbans to discover that “little has changed”. Therefore in 2013, while he was working with the consultancy major Accenture in Kolkata, together with his IIM batchmate Saurabh Kumar, and college buddies SoumitraDandapat and Jhilam Nandi, an IT professional he formed Kishalay Foundation with the objective of improving public primary education in the Sundarbans. He is also a great lover of sports, games and encourages the team.
Jhilam Nandi, Co-Founder
Jhilam is having 25 plus yrs experience in Sales, Marketing & Business Development in various sectors including IT and Education. With a passion for travelling, photography and blogging he is closely associated with Kishalay Foundation from the early years of the organisation as a Co-Founder.He handles CSR initiatives, operational excellence, brand promotion &publicity, PR activities and overall marketing strategy of the organisation. He is also a lover of Indian art, culture and music.
