On 20th March, 2022 Kishalay Foundation received the Best Partner award from Mukti at their 18th Founding year ceremony. Biplab Das, Founder of Kishalay Foundation received the award on behalf of the organisation. This recognition and award goes to all of our volunteers and members who worked relentlessly on the ground during Yaas and Covid Relief work in Sundarbans area.

On 18th February, 2022 our Founder Biplab Das is being awarded Vivek Samman 2022 by “Vivek Pathe”, an organisation established with the ideology of Swami Vivekananda. Each year on the occasion of Swamiji’s birthday, they award distinguished people and organisations who work for the people in the society. This will surely motivate Kishalay Team to move forward and increase our responsibilities towards the children of the society.

We are pleased to share that on 19th December, 2021 Kishalay Foundation is being felicitated by Young Indians Kolkata Chapter at a function at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata for our efforts in the Plantation program at Sundarban. Our Co-founder Biplab Das received the award on behalf of Kishalay Team accompanied by Jhilam Nandi, another key team member (Co-Founder) in this event. Young Indians is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation, Yi plays a proactive role in India’s development process. We would like to thank Young Indians and Confederation of Indian Industry for all their support and trust.

On 23rd July, 2021 Kishalay Foundation being felicitated by Bengal Covid Care Initiative at the Press Club for our relief efforts in Covid in Sundarban area. Eminent physician Dr. Kunal Sarkar was present in the function and the award was handed over by the local MLA. Our Founder Biplab Das attended this event to receive the award from the organisers. We would like to thank to all our members, volunteers, donors, friends and well-wishers for all their support.

New York based Educators Lab selected Kishalay Foundation to add in their Network of Change Makers and Ecosystem Enablers in grass root level among various NGOs in India and South Asia.

We are happy to share that Goodera have selected Kishalay Foundation in WEST BENGAL for the in-kind donation drive on Children’s Day across the country from 12 Nov to 17 Nov, 2018. The list of items being collected for the said drive includes – dry and packed ration, Stationary & books, Household items (mattress, bedsheets, etc.) Furniture, Gadgets (in working condition) & Unused toiletries. In May 2018, Kishalay’s video got shortlisted among 11,511 film entries received across India in the “YES! i am the CHANGE 2018” contest organised by Yes Foundation. Thanks to YES FOUNDATION for all your support. We are also grateful to Abir Dutta for creating the video which got selected within first 500 short films.

On March 2018, we were listed within the Top 400 Start-ups in India ranked by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, Kolkata. This was a proud moment for us when we were shortlisted within 400 Start-up firms among 3000 plus contestants in India!

Our Co-founder Mr. Biplab Das attended the Regional rounds of “Smart Fifty solutions to transform India” Contest at the IIM, Kolkata campus organised by the IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, in association with Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

On July 2017, our Co-founder Mr. Biplab Das shared his experience of his journey in Social Entrepreneurship at IIM, Bangalore in the panel discussion session-“Building and Scaling Organizations – Lessons from the field” organised by NSRCEL. He shared about the initiatives of Kishalay in Sundarban, WestBengal for social upliftment. We thank NSRCEL for this invitation and this was again a true recognition for us.
