Preventive Healthcare

Health and Hygiene Program

To tackle rural health and hygiene issues, especially for women, we have also collaborated with Aakar Innovations, a Pune based organisation to lend a hand in their noble endeavour to make a difference in the lives of millions of rural women who cannot afford sanitary napkins in their times of need. We are striving to bring awareness about menstrual hygiene and the importance of the use of sanitary napkins in an eco friendly way, of course, at an affordable cost. To make this partnership stronger, a series of workshops are being conducted at various locations in Sunderban, along with women support groups and our women volunteers to bring awareness about menstrual hygiene by distributing eco friendly sanitary napkins supported by Aakar Innovations.
